    And it continues.....

The year wait wasn't due to Wes, or MSTN at all, just some complications with a previous build. But, the wait has been worth it.

The way Wes broke it in:

    The way it is now:

Sorry about the pictures, When 1_Ar_Newbie gets around, I'll have his digital SLR available.

I had too, truly a testament to Lilja barres, match ammo, and good shooting. Cell phone pictures though, Wife has the digi out on deployment.

Excellent shooting there, Tex! I assume at 100 yards...

    Beautiful SPR too!

What Match ammo are you using? If handload, what recipe?

Sorry - I cut and pasted this thread from ar15 - I will give credit where it is due: that target is the test target Wes @ MSTN shot. Not myself. I hope to recreate it though.

    100 yards was the distance...correct

I believe Wes breakes in his barrels with the mk262 and similarly loaded ammo, BHs and Federal. I cannot quote for sure which load that group was but he did mentioned how the barrel enjoyed and shot everything well.

This barrel is TAUNTING ME in regards to learning how to handload. If it is capable sub .5moa with manufactered ammo, if I found the right combination with handloading...it would be an interesting journey

First time to the range yesterday, really couldn't be happier. First time back to precision shooting in the last 3 months, so I felt a little 'rusty'

    Best 5 Shot Group @ 100 yards:

    Best "5 shot Group" @ 300 yards:
(I could have sworn I shot 5 shots at this target, but only 4 holes...dont know if one went directly on the other or not)

Awesome, that looks great. Might have to go that route for my next build.
