Convert pistol grip 1895 to straight grip??

    Gentlemen,

I have a 1895 SBL that I would prefer to be straight gripped. Any solution?

I've seen where others have done it, though I'm not sure what is required. You would need to replace, in addition to the stock itself, the lower tang piece that hold the trigger/lever pivot. I'm not sure if anything else is needed. Not sure if the top tang requires any modification.

Not hard to do, just time consuming and costly. I am going to guess 3k or so.
