Yes if it was cost effective. If I could learn what I wanted to know and the price wasn't outragous I would definitely be interested.

The military sent all of the range instructors at McChord AFB to the course back in 1999 and there is no way I would pay for that. Everything they taught us we learned in our technical school. He was so proud of the fact that he was going to prove that the gun would shoot without the gas rings until we showed him a few filthy ones in the vault that we had already been testing without gas rings to see how long they would go before we were at failure from too little gas pressure.
I guess you missed the part about the course that my course is open to all personnel military civilian and law enforcement. Not everyone is able to attend a military school like you did. So far all the feedback I received from everybody who has been to my class has been very.

Why not take a another armorer course? I'm sure things have changed a little since your last course. I've trained with many instuctors guns and martial arts; all great at what they do, and all had their own style. You never can learn too much is what I'm getting at. If you only know one way to do something it makes you one dimensional. Plus their are tricks that the military can't teach or be able, that a civilian (not bound by a criteria passed down from above) can. I missed my chance to take IG's course last time he came to south (GA)and have regretted (should have gave wife cheaper gift) it since.... BTW when are coming back down to south Gunz?

Gun usage changes over times therefore gun tactics and training changes over time. The armorers course teaches maintenance not usage. There are only so many different ways to break a gun. I have been to the course 3 times total. The first one in 99, again in 01, and again when the AF switched to the M4. Same course the first two times. The last time the only change was discussing the problems the m4 was having with frangible ammo I can see where this would be a good course for a police armorer that may see one broken rifle every month or so but when you maintain close to 10K and shoot 50K a day like we did at the time you learn quick how to be an armorer.

Yes, but depends on cost and location.
IG about a month ago you mentioned you were working on a class in Jacksonville. Is there any update on that?
Steve
Yes I would, I'm in CT if that matters.
When will the next course take place in AZ?
