    Daniel Defense question

    So ive been looking into the Daniel Defense complete upper. A little while back the one I was looking at had the Omega X 12'' rail and now they come with the DDM4 rail. What is the difference in the two?

    Uses bolt up system similar to LITE and RIS II, has front and rear sling swivels, narrower profile.

    The DDM4 Rail is a single piece rail whereas the Omega X is two pieces.

    I wish more companies would put out a diagram of their rail profiles similar to this one:

    Great chart, but slightly misleading. The new rail coming on the DD guns is not the M4 listed on that chart.

    I used that chart a long time ago and never made an attempt to say that it was representative of the new rail. I said:

    It would make comparison of different rails a breeze.

    Are there any pros or cons to the omega over ddm4?
