I mean... I've not used moe handguards.. so I can't offer an opinion...

But my GearSector or VLTOR light mounts on a KAC or DD rail can REALLY take brutal punishment and not break.

My buddy from the marine corp who served in the sandbox is constantly amazed at all the aftermarket stuff that's available for ARs. He has commented on wishing he had : an Aimpoint T1, PMags, a CTR, BAD and a battlecomp. He says we (those who don't go into harms way) are better equipped than those who risk their lives. He's a good sport about it though and has a completely tricked out AR for the upcoming carbine classes he's taking.

He also appears to be rocking a 1911...

His buddy in front of him appears to have a MICH 2001 and tacti-fashion multicam pants.

Setting aside the "fasion faux pas", I'd be more concerned about the direction of the muzzle.

I shouldn't sound like I'm knocking the DUO stock either... I've not tried it. And I surely defend a guy's right to pick the stock that works with his gear.

How could you possibly know if he has more than he needs from just a picture? Do you speak from experience?
