Get good ammo and see if it ejects when firing single rounds.

Unless the ammo is literally out of spec in size of the rim I do not see it being the issue. Not saying its not possible though. But the BCG is obviously getting enough gas to throw it back far enough to put the previous spent case in a position of jamming onto the rear of the next round in the mag. If the bolt is cycled that far the case should be ejected no matter how bad the cycling is. That is if I am understanding what he is describing. If the case did not make it behind the next round and was either jamming stove top or some other way or back into the chamber I could see it being gas and thus a possible ammo issue. If thats not the case as to how its jamming then disregard my comments on it. If it is then I am with it being a ejector spring or something hanging the plunger up or a extractor that is either gripping to tight or is too loose or has some defect in dimension. It seems to me something is keeping the spent case on the bolt face to some degree. But hell I have seen bad ammo do some screwy stuff that just does not seem possible for it to be the culprit so I never rule it out and why I to do not use it to test a new gun.

Then anything is possible I guess. The only reloads I ever trust are my own and one other persons.

Sadly I did not know this until yesterday, otherwise I would not have purchased the ammo. I am blessed it didn't blow up my rifle. I will try to get back to the range soon to test some M193.

My first 1k rounds fired were DRS. I did not have any issues. Once fired LC brass.

Not defending the ammo here, but I am betting you have an issue with your BCG.

Do try some factory ammo and see if the issue goes away. If so, contact DRS and let them know your experience.

Like every other manufacturer on the planet, they are subject to having a bad batch make it out the door.

I queried on DRS before I bought some, and was confident in the responses (not a fly by night shoddy reloading company) to go with it.

I have been shooting Dallas reloader softpoint for at least 20 years with very few problems.

I will contact the company to let them know I had to throw away 80 of the rounds from split necks.

IDK if anyone saw my last question but is there a certain dimension that you can measure of the extractor spring to tell if its bad? I measured my Colt copper spring and the coils were .027" wide which is correct from what I have read, but the height of it was only .165"

I just measured two, new, copper springs and got .172". Have no idea what the tolerance would be.
