    Thanks for all the help

I would like to thank the folks on this site for helping me make an informed decision on my first purchase. If not for you guys I could have made some costly mistakes.
The rifle I finally pulled the trigger on was an LMT Defender 2000. My eyes are not that great so the first thing to go was the front sight. Replaced it with a flip up and installed a Nikon P-223 3X scope. It's perfect for what I need. I have a DD Omega rail coming and looking to put a fold down rear sight on the top rail behind the scope if it won't stick too far off the back.
I have put approx. 400 rounds through it and my only complaint was the gritty trigger. Did a little buffing and now everything's fine.
My only other accessory might be a green laser. But for now the rest of my money is going into ammo.
Thanks again everyone for not letting me end up with a Bushmaster or DPMS. LOL

Practice, practice, practice. LMTs are good rifles.
