    Federal 5.56 MK318 MOD 0 chrono test out of my 10.5'' SBR


    I'm always searching for the best ammo for my SBR and most of the guys I work with either run one of 2 loads––-Speer Gold Dot 64gr (or the Fusion 62 version) or the MOD 0 load we're testing here today. Both loads are recommended by Dr. Roberts and are probably good choices for a rifle (SBR) that is already compromising muzzle velocity due to the short barrel.

    Here's the chrono test I ran to document the real world results:

    Have you done any accuracy tests? We bought some of those loose bullet 62 gr OTMs from Midway, but they didn't impress in the accuracy department. May have been this batch of bullet or the load we tried. They're good... but not great.
