    rattle

    Hi guys,
I gotta ?? I have a DPMS lower and an 11.5 upper (so I've been told it;s a WILSON???) The problem is the forward take down pin area is a littl loose. Not real loose, but enough to where it makes me uncomfortable. Is there any way to "tighten" it up. The rear area/take down pin/thing area is fine. The rear fits as good as my Colt.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

By loose, do you mean you have play between your upper and lower? If that's the case there's no need for concern. All AR type weapons have play between the upper and lower to differing degrees. Some very little and others a great deal.

Probably nothing to worry about. If I misinterpreted your question just give a holler.

    Hope this helps.

    A few things....

    1. What is used and what is new? It is possible that the holes are worn or DPMS used crappy parts. You could try and put a new front take down pin in it.

    2. You can also get a 6.00 Accuwedge which should help the situation.

It does not matter. At all. It should be that way.

I use an accuwedge on my SRT. Works great after I shaved it down some.
