LOL Big +1, or send it off to PWS to have their piston conversion work done to it like GotM4 did.

Ok, I'm on the same page as most everyone.
    I have 2 LE6920's on order from G&R Tactical.

My primary will have(already have this stuff):

    Aimpoint 3X w/Larue Flip mount
    BCM extractor spring upgrade
Super Duty Chrome Silicon Buffer Spring (Tac. Springs)
DNTC Muzzle Brake (Tactical Compensator and Flash Suppressor)
    KNS Gen 2 pin Kit
    Vickers Sling with Cobra buckle
    Troy Rear BUIS
    Tango Down Stubby VFG

Stuff I still need to order:
    MIAD w/bolt core
    BCM spare MP Bolt
    CTR
    P-Mags

Most of the brands that you listed are the same that I use on my two carbines, a Colt 6721 and a LMT Defender except for the rails.

I'm using LaRue rails on my Colt and KAC M4 RAS rails on my LMT.

Congrats, enjoy putting them together when you get it and let us know how it shoots.

I don't do too much to my 6920 Carbines. The KAC M4 RAS is a must for me, even if I don't plan to use it, I like the option. So, both my 6920's are equipped as such.

One still wears the detachable carry handle and all original stock set/parts. The other is the same, only with an Matech BUIS and an Aimpoint.

Personally, I do not like to over do it with these Carbines, but I figured by setting them up as I did allows me the option to change or add equipment as the situation dictates, yet still maintain a level of simplicity and low weight.

The 6920 is basically perfection out of the box, hence my hesitation to mess with it too much.

    Very little:

    - Aimpoint or Eotech
    - Blue Force Gear / Vickers Tactical adjustable two point sling
    - Small piece of bolt-on rail for your OEM hand guards/ Vltor light mount / Surefire 6P light
    - Cleaning kit & lubrication supplies
    - Quality magazines (USGI, P-Mags, or HK)
    - Take a class carbine/pistol class from a reputable instructor.

    I put a TA-33-8 on mine.

    And then shoot, clean, lube.

    In this order:

    1. Vickers BFG Sling with sewn in swivels from G&R Tactical
    2. Weapon mounted light; there are lots of good ones.
    3. Aimpoint in Larue mount if you want a red-dot, ACOG or SD if you want a scope, also in a Larue mount
    4. 10-15 good mags

At this moment in time, I would leave it alone and buy another one. You will probably be able to buy all the aftermarket goodies for some time to come down the road. How much longer will you possibly be able to buy a 6920? Either another rifle or another rifles value worth of ammo. Learn to shoot it well, then buy aftermarket goodies.

If there is even a hint of talk of a ban, how long do you think it will take for all the 6920's on the market right now to get bought up and gone? Not very long. Be smart.
