Security Guard thwarts robbery - some good learning points

    Didn't see this posted:

Very good reaction by the security guard, a testament to his training and mindset. A few key points:

    -Smooth draw
    -Shooting while moving
-Movement is not rushed or jerked, but controlled, smooth and deliberate
-Keeping his SA and using cover when threat is gone
It's not about surviving, it's about winning!

For sure he keeps up with training, wonder if the security agency requires them to take a yearly class? Great reaction for that hour of the morning, actually for anytime.

He certainly was following the 11 General Orders for Sentries.

I'd love to know who that guy is, where he learned his shit, and why he's only working as a security guard. Frigging Securitas didn't train him like that.

Excellent. So do we know that only one of the bad guys was shot?

Excellent gun handling and composure shown! He took the fight to them instantly, he became the feeder and was obviously well trained. Very well trained. Great example of training taking over...

Following cut and pasted from WESH.COM Orland FL

One of the robbers was wounded, and the other two were chased out the door.

The one man who was hit, 18-year old Mark Spivey, is still recovering from the wounds and is not cooperating with police, they said.

Check out his mug shot in hospital gown: http://florida.arrests.org/Arrests/Mark_Spivey_8264404/

Am I the only one who laughed at the shoes being left behind?
