I figured I'd share this with you guys. If you get "the question" on legality of silencers just link that person this video and save your breath lol

Video: How to buy a silencer
Ok after constantly answering questions on my YT channel (http://www.youtube.com/fireman1291) on the legalities of firearm silencers I figured I would just do a video on it! lol

More info has been added to the description below the video. If you see a typo or want me to add something please let me know.

I hope you enjoy the video. If you have a YT account leave a comment under the video. Thanks!

If somebody needs to watch a video on how to Buy a suppressor or the legalities of them they don't need to buy one they need to stick with the Red Rider. Those are the same people that defeat the legalities of shooting somebody legally with an NFA item.

Its just a video that helps to clear up YEARS of mis-information for a newb. Did you wake up one day and know every fact about buying a title2 item? Or did you learn on forums, gunshops, and buddies that had them? See my point.

This isn't an illegal gun, it's an "undocumented protection device". Don't be so insensitive.

Allow me to clarify. I am not poo-pooing on the video per se. Simply that people are lazy and should do their homework as many of us did (and consult with people who know the deal) when doing something like purchasing NFA items.

I'll guarantee you that if someone used the net and did some research and fact checking they would find all the right answers. You know that whole "trust but verify" thing. It's just like when I travel with a firearm (CCW or otherwise) I make every effort to check the state police and AG website and other sources to ensure that I am 100% legal.

I don't own any "NFA items" nor do I have any interest in owning them, BUT I really appreciate your posting this video nonetheless because it is on Youtube for all to see. (It can go a long way in helping to squash widespread ignorance of the firearms subculture.)

Thanks for taking the time to make the video and post it. I've been wanting to get into the NFA game for a while now with a suppressed SBR. I've been researching the process, but it was nice to see so much of it spelled out in one place like that.
    Steve
