I have been scouring google looking for reviews of this light, and I cant seem to find any. Is it not any better than a TLR-1S standard? This would be for a carbine btw.

From durability perspective, do you think it would be the same as a regular tlr-1?
Is it more of a spotlight or a wide-dispersion type similar to the TLR-1s?
I have been using the original tlr-1 for quite a few years and have had no problems with it.
That bell appears to be quite large.![]()
I had a regular tlr1s and with the exception of the battery door, it was greatly inferior to the X300. I would wait for the X300 ultra if you need a high output pistol/carbine light.

I've been very happy with mine. I use it on my "house carbine". The large bell gives it a very wide beam and is great for checking the property for coyotes.. Ron
Ain't no pockets on a shroud..
So do we feel like the added throw of the light is worth not being able to mount it at 12 o clock? I had my original TLR-1 set up this way and really like it.
This thing basically looks like a TLR-1 body but with a SuperTac bezel, the latter had 160 lumens whereas the TLR-1 HP supposedly has 200 lumens. Does anyone have both to compare the throw between them?
