My LWRCi upper works just fine, as have the many I have seen.

I get the fact that you just have to shit on things you don't like, but with your level of hate, I'm surprised you like anything...
I must admit there is a topic over on LF about a shipment of LWRC's going overseas that none worked well. And a few others who had the same experience, butthis is not the topic at hand.

I got the replacement today. To get anywhere, I had to email corporate (yes, they actually read their emails). I received a call from the manager yesterday saying corporate gave the go-ahead for the exchange. Everything went very smoothly today.

While it wasn't the smoothest return I've ever done, I think they've finally done right on their part (exactly 6 days after the problem).

Glad to hear everything worked out for you. Now you can go enjoy your Colt, have fun.

olds442tyguy: I prefer buying American not because of the cost, but because of the integrity. I'd rather send some greedy American guy a couple extra bucks than pay a couple bucks for an inferior product that's likely made from recycled condoms.

Please leave LWRC out of this discussion and let's focus on issue at hand.

That's for returns, not exchanges of faulty merchandise.
This isn't an illegal gun, it's an "undocumented protection device". Don't be so insensitive.

Good to know. I'm glad SW did right by you, and I hope the new pony is perfect.

That's good to hear. Having read your account up to that point, I honestly wasn't optimistic that you were going to get such a positive resolution from the retailer. Sometimes, tenacity pays off!

This was going to be my argument if SW pointed out the signs. I can understand not wanting to deal with buyers remorse on ammo and firearms sales.

The new one appears to be flawless. I went over it, and over, and over it more looking for problems, and I could find none. They were kind enough to let me fully field-strip it. If I have time to hit the range tomorrow, I'll see how it runs. I want to keep it close to stock.
