    And one could say the same of people who believe other Americans are somehow OBLIGATED to vote for a particular candidate.

    Alienating people in the process us a different matter. And it doesn't change the fact that suggesting people are required to "vote for a block" isn't offensive in and of itself.

    To use an EXTREME EXAMPLE (so please no strawman argument rebuttle) if the choice becomes Joe Stalin vs. Adolf Hitler have we finally arrived at the point people who refuse to vote for either one don't somehow become responsible for electing one of them?
