Ok. This is my first attempt. This is some old para cord that was lying in the back of my truck.
I found this vid on youtube with a lady showing how to tie a different type of lanyard. I may try it next.

That link to Chris Reeves knot is the knot you tie for a Hangman's Noose.
Weaving paracord is like playing golf -- either it's a good substitute for prescription meds, or it's an E-ticket ride to the pharmacy.
