Any recommendation on which Eotech is the "proper" choice for a P553? I'd like a "donut" style sight.

I have seen pics of romanians with eotech 553s although i think a aimpoint t1 just feels right on it. I thought a zeiss zpoint would go well if you need to be more hipster.

There are some refurb 553.A65/SU-231/PEQ with A.R.M.S. mount on Amazon for less than $500. Brownell's has their own version of the 553 w/ QR and different reticle for $550. Hmm.

I do like the look of the steel lower, but it seems like the aluminum lower has a better fit.

My aluminum lower is a little rattley, I was planning on picking up a steel lower to remedy (more to scratch an itch.). Glad I saw your post.

But the steel is soooo classic SIG looking. It would be awesome to have them both. I don't think they sell individual aluminum lowers do they?
