Swiss SIG 553 pistols have hit the US market

Tried a Gemtech Halo and an M4SD at my SOT today. No bueno. I'll try the Halo-Ti at my LGS tomorrow or Tuesday when I can get over there. The Sig flashider is too long and the lock is engaging on the bottom of the ports vs. the rear of that section.

Help me then...what’s the trick? Neither collars were long enough to get past the bulge for the collar to seat. The muzzle was on the flange inside the can.

Does the collar lock to the vents vs the base or something?

Yes...that collar is a lot longer than the one we tried. The Halo-Ti I found is apparently really old so that will be next

I have two B&T USA cans. Would not purchase another....they're overpriced and not very quiet. My understanding is that they didn't get access to the Swiss TDP and they're outsourced anyways so just paying for a name without much benefit. I have three 553's to run cans on so not pressed to add another for the 551, 550's or PE90 unless it's a good design.

I was looking for something for my 553 lb.
