Newbie to this forum guys. However, I do have thousands of posts on other sights. I have 2 M4's. I have a S&W X Model that is a nice rifle, it had an Aimpoint PRO on it. I have just bought a Daniel Defense V5 LW that I absolutely love. I have temporarily taken the Aimpoint off of the S&W and put it on my DD. I am about to buy another red dot to put on the DD. I am set one either another Aimpoint (most likely a Micro) or an Eotech EXPS2-0. I am going to put the PRO back on the S&W. Then, the DD will be used for home defense as well as range shooting and maybe some hunting, because it may be a little while, but I am going to put a 3x magnifier on the DD, no matter which optic I decide on. I love the battery life of the Aimpoint, and I love the reticle on the Eotech. I have heard that the Eotech's work a little better with a 3x Magnifier, but I don't have enough trigger time using a magnifier to know for sure. Which optic would you would you go with if you were me in this situation? Thanks! Glad to be on here guys!
