BattleReady, it was really obvious in the first few replies that you accidentally or unknowingly hit the thumbs-down button. Don't sweat it.

Anyway, in the future I would also try to avoid a railed gas block if you plan to use iron sights at all. It's an invitation for problems. I'm sure many have done it without issue, but it's not preferred.

What are the issues with iron sights on gas blocks if you don't mind me asking?

I dunno, so far mines pretty good. Extreme Duty 316 matches up on the chart toe to toe with Colt. But time will tell if it has the reliability. lol.

    I doubt that.
    Delton is garbage.
    Period.
Don't believe me? Run a google search for "Delton bolt failure".

Just as good as claims always fall short and are looked down upon on this forum.

None of the industry professionals, subject matter experts, LEO, or military on this board would trust their lives with a Delton rifle.
This is a very clear clue.

On paper they match up. Like I said time will tell Im not a LEO, SME, or an industry professional, or military. By the chart I mean "The Chart" Did a google search for that within the last year and I didnt find much. Out past a year, yeah there is plenty. Anyways, i'm not going to get into an argument on it. To each his own.

Sign up for a 2 or 3 day carbine class where you will have to opportunity to run the gun hard.
Shoot 5.56 pressure ammo through it and I guarantee that you will have stuck cases in TD1.

Yeah, I want to sign up for one for sure. I dont have the money to spare and no time to spare either. I mean on paper they match up with Colt (the extreme duty 316 only). True test would be to take it to a carbine course. Nearest one is 4 hours away from me. Believe me I already got that spill from Grant. lol

As far as 5.56 I will never have to shoot 5.56 through it so that is a non issue.
