I do find it funny that i write like an idiot but you all cant understand what im asking because you all dont know how to use the sights. The holes on the carry handle are set at two different hights. So that when the big hole is on at close range the little one is on at long distance. So u dont have to miss with the elavation because u have basicly two in one. But as soon as you people get this gun u start taking shit off and putting what everyone else has got or wants. Cause u got to have the biggest and badest to compansite for what u dont have in manhood... Posably?? And how i wright has nothin to do with how i shoot.

So people use smaller sights to compensate for something? It seems your logic needs work along with your English.

What do you do for a living?

And fyi, most ARs don't even come with a carry handle anymore. The only time I've ever used a carry handle was on my training M16a2. My issued M4 has flip up rear sights and my personal ARs did not come with any sights at all.

People here will try to give you the benefit of the doubt, but this forum is run primarily by and for professionals. The interested civilian wanna-bes (myself included), try to maintain the same level of professionalism.

You started off very poorly with a post that makes you look childish, not inexperienced. You then followed up with a post claiming that you make $110k in just 6 months, from a job that apparently requires no written communication. You added a statement that sounds like you're getting the subject firearm via a straw purchase, which is frowned on by Federal law, let alone here. It does make it harder to give that benefit of the doubt.

But i make one post and i get all this crap. I guess im just touchy about my wrightin skills. Maybe if u guys met me in person u would think differently of me. We dont normaly put so much importance on how someone comunicates as long as he is a good person. So i will find another goup to learn from.

Oh for ****s sake stop it now. When you're ole lady gets done making the straw purchase for you...have her type something remotely readable. Normally I don't bust on other people, but this is just damn silly.

So r u sayin that i can not have my woman go in walmart, take my money and put down on a layaway on a gun that i will go in there and do all the paper work and the gun will be in my name? I mean all she done was put the gun on layaway. She signed no paper work, they did not even ask her name. And u say this is agaist the law? And it is frowned on? Please explain what is wrong with this on the account that i try to obey the law at all times.

No need to get bitter, I didn't see anyone say you were a bad person just bad at english. There are many good sources of knowledge here, and many of us are former mil so watch out for ball busting.

To answer what I think is your question, the 0-2 sight commonly referred to as the "night sight" is used for engagements from zero to 200m, and I guess low light. Passed that the small aperture is preferred, and for more precise shots.
