    These are A1 in length if I remember correctly. I may grab one to try.

    Anyone know if those stupid QD things can be removed, drilled out, melted down and/or destroyed? I need a paracord attachment point and the loop is too far forward of the toe of the stock.

    I'm hard pressed to buy anything that has a QD attachment point on it. But if I can drill them out.. maybe.

    Its closer to A2 than it is A1 in length.

    It doesn't come with QD, so you are safe.

    Mine came in the mail today..its shorter than I imagined it would be..thought id try it out while I wait for an a5 tube to come back in stock somewhere..

    I have the brownells vise block set on the way, so I hope to get it put together this weekend for a range trip Monday.

    That has to be the first time I've heard anyone not like QD attachment points. What's there not to like?

    I assume they will be making them in OD green at some point in the future. I just want them to be functional. I don't care if they are fugly if they are functional. kwg

    I think they said the other colors will be out within a month.

    It's a mechanical solution with too many moving, breakable, rustable parts.

    I've seen a guy pick up his weapon and ask "how did that happen?" while looking at the sling dangling. And another guy here flat dumped his gun on the ground because of that junk. Completely unacceptable.
