    Dammit, i thought QD shit was gtg.. I just put together my last rifle utilizing qd sockets.. Oh well, I'm just a civi out looking for coyotes..

    I really like the looks of these Magpul rifle stocks, makes me want to put a 20"er together..

    I hear you. I really don't think it's viable though. I don't see the volume there to make the project worthwhile.

    I have a design for a fixed stock that works of the A5 RE... so you ditch the buttstock screw and net an A1 or even shorter fixed, and still keep the rifle spring.
