There is no comparison of the mini reflex sights.. rmr, dr. optics, etc.. against the utility & durability of a T1.
The illumination feature not so important to me, for the few min of transitional time come sun up. Either a clip on NOD more appropriate or laser or T1 99% of the time.
A horus reticle.. so dialing not likely.
I see no need for BUIS when a T1 is used as a BURDS (yeah, just made that up). In fact, that would be the 4th sight for many professional users vari-optic, T1, laser...
Regarding placement of mini red dot. A dynamic shooter, or gamer, may prefer a 45degree angle. A position shooter will often find the 12 o clock red dot easier to access in the prone. The pro's and cons clearer when compared side by side & forced into odd positions and pressing times, that in 2D.
Those are good points, and I didn't know that the weight you posted was INCLUDING mount, and BURDS.
Also, I'd rather have BUIS on any gun than not, and lasers aren't gonna be a viable option in the daytime. They weigh like 3 oz. so why the hell not?
