Good timing -- my feeding tube was removed this morning at 0930. Went fine, and was not even remotely the ordeal that I was expecting. Just another sign of the journey back, but for me this was a big one. Appreciate the concern, as always.

So, some (more) cause for celebration this time. Have had the usual North Carolina allergy silliness to deal with this week, but on balance, I'm doing great. Just need to get the weight back on ...

That's great news about the feeding tube. I do hope this means you can start sampling tasty BBQ and some good German beer.

Plus popcorn on family movie night - woohoo!

Excellent news. I remember when we met that seemed to be the remaining aspect of the ordeal that was most troublesome for you, which is certainly understandable. Either way that part is over and now only adds to your strengths today.

As far as the allergies, while I've been fine my son, who has never really suffered notably from allergies, has had a very difficult spring. Last fall was also bad and I've both read and heard that apparently the issue spans across much of the nation this year. Especially odd that I'm somehow immune because at my son's age I had asthma and allergies so bad I was hospitalized three times and was always on medicine for it.

Nothing left of that period but the typical nasal irritation to dust, as again even bad pollen doesn't effect me anymore. Not sure all that childhood medicine didn't make me a little goofy though.

As Cory said AC I wish you a great Father's Day today and with all that's happened recently I know that this will be a very special one for you and your family. God bless brother and it is STILL very good to see you on here in regularity being the 'wise father with a hammer' around M4C. Enjoy the day Chief.
