Extremely well put Safety. That's exactly how I feel as well.

This is heartbreaking to read. It's a sad reminder to people with nominal health what we have to be thankful for.

Wishes & prayers out to Army Chief.

I truly hope it will be enough.
Very well said. All good thoughts and prayers out to you and your family AC.

To be honest this thread has neared cricket chirping status, and this probably at the time when Chief might benefit the most from reading some uplifting comments when he can here and there. Ain't about making anybody wrong, but as our lives go on as usual we know a real good and respected man still with us who can't say the same.

I check this thread regularly for updates regarding AC's status. His battle is on my mind and my thoughts are with him.

As was noted by Safetyhit, the period following an intense radiation treatment protocol is tough sledding. It's basically akin to suffering from radiation poisening with severe fatigue, increased susceptibility to secondary infection due to immunosupression, anorexia, and a bunch of other side effects.

The patient just has to dig in and gut it out. Which sounds like a task right up AC's alley.

    All the best, AC.
