good to see you post, chuck. you're in my thoughts.
"I may remain on the fast track for Arlington"
Don't be saying shit like that, you hear me AC? The only fast track you should be on is getting your ass in gear and start planning out and starting that "PDW Project" with your family. Yes, we want to be pragmatic and prepare for the worst, but your worst is nowhere near in your future, unless you decide to put a Delton LRG with Commercial Spec RE, and Chinese airsoft furniture on your good to go weapon.![]()
Just a little something to get the adrenaline going AC.

Go Army, Hooah!
Point taken, gents. My purpose in acknowledging the reality of my situation is in no way intended as a melodramatic device; merely an acknowledgment that I've still got an inoperable sarcoma in my face, and although the radiation seems to have knocked it down for a bit, the overall mechanics of the situation haven't changed. If anything, the take-away ought to be that I've got perfect peace with whatever is coming, and aside from selfishly wanting to preserve as much quality of life as possible until then, I'm content to let God work this out according to His plan. I took the steps available to me to stop it, and the rest is out of my hands. I do understand (and appreciate) the messages of support, but make no mistake: I'm good with whatever is coming. Would I like to postpone the trip to Arlington it for a while? Sure --but I'm almost more bothered by the lack of AR part availability right now than I am about being laid low by cancer. lol God is in control.
Wish we were visiting the parents up in New Hampshire tonight. Always loved watching a good Nor'easter blow through.

Glad to hear it AC. Keep it in the crosshairs. You will eliminate this threat.
Off your ass And On your feet. We actually need you, and more like you, more than you know.
Prayers and best of wishes to you and family...

AC glad to hear from you!
Just keep that rolling horizon far away. We all meet our maker in our time, hope your horizon is still many, many miles from where you stand today.

This is so true. We miss you around here AC. Your voice of reason and guidance more than anything.
Not trying to lay a guilt trip on you but....its late and I hope you get my point.
You should be with me tomorrow if you have an obsession with quality. I'll be at a booth at the local gunshow. Filled with the wonders of overpriced, over gassed, under whelming ARs rollmarked with coiled snakes and panthers. 85 year old green follower mags for$35. Trijicons, Aimpoints, Eotechs all for the low low price of $100 Yuan....(clearing throat). As you were. I meant dollars. I am positive that M2 I saw was made in Sweden!
I do believe you are a Nightforce fan so I'll see if I cant pick you one up for $50 or so.![]()
God Bless AC. Cheered me up hearing from you again so soon.
