The E1B looks like the light I've been looking for for a while now. I tried to get one on Tuesday but the Surefire booth had a hard time scrounging up batteries by then, much less a cool new light. Gotta find one at a dealer now.
    Principles matter.

I like that E1B too. I'm not much of one for toting a light, but that one might change my mind.

Surefire's L1 LED is "my" number one grab light ...hands down.
I like putting the new 6P LED with a Z49 tail cap on the Rail too.
Spending $100 instead of $300 or $400 is nice too.

A new L1 fell into my bag during SHOT at the same time the fine folks at Surefire were replacing my L4's tailcap (for the third time). I haven't even taken it out of the box yet. Seems nice but can't really say it will do anything the L4 won't do. Is there a particular reason you prefer the L1?

L1 and L4 seem to have the same max output of 100 lumens, the L1 is a dual
output with a low 10 lumens...great for in the car or digging in your gear bag.
L1 is alittle shorter and is only a one battery unit....also comes with a lanyard.
    Like I said....it's just a great light.

Theis is a fantastic light. We have 10 of them appearing this week.
