I got a chance to play with the Gemtech GSG-5 suppressor and I have to admit it is very well executed. HOWEVER!!! The can is intended to LOOK like a 9mm subgun can, and while it does that very well, the practicality of the suppressor is somewhat questionable. To me, the GSG-5 feels like an airsoft toy and since I don't need to a .22 with the same manual of operation as an MP5 the novelty is lost on me.

That said, I have ZERO doubt the GSG-5 suppressor will work very well but if I were looking to suppress a GSG-5 (or any other .22) I would look at the Outback-2. It is smaller, lighter, less expensive, and less obtrusive.

Just my humble opinion so take it for what it is worth.
