I just had to double check my browser and make sure I wasn't logged in to TOS by mistake.

Rainier is a wonderful company with excellent CS. I order at 10 am at night and they ship at 8 in the morning. I have not used one of their lowers but I would be shocked if they were not top notch.

I wondered about that. There are Mega products all over their website. They look good.

Rainier Arms would not put out ANYTHING that they wouldn't consider the best quality product on the market. They are a great company to deal with as well. Buy from them with confidence.
Apparently not the owner of Spikes Tactical

Just ordered a Mega lower from Ranier. When they have the assembled upper (trap door, forward assist) available, it will be next.

I think I took a chance with the LRB and won.

    That's my opinion.
I put two lrb lowers together w/o issues, they've worked well, ran one through 2 classes with a bcm upper and have had nothing but success with it.

Are Surplus Ammo and Arms lowers any good?

I bought a PSA lower from my local gun store/pawn shop (they actually sell some good stuff even as a pawn shop). I did a side by side comparison and the guy, who knows fairly good, was shaking his head why I was doing a through inspection between the PSA and the Surplus ammo and Arms lower.

To be honest, the Surplus lower was cleaning while the PSA had clear machine marks (it was also $15 cheaper too), but I went with the PSA because of the okay track they have here on the board over an unknown.

The PSA was tight fitting with some of the pins going in pretty rough (bolt catch pin had aluminum shavings popping out as I drove the pin in).

Just curious of the Surplus Ammo and Arms are GTG?

My understanding is that Surplus Ammo receivers are made by Aero Precision. If you notice, Aero Precision are the other ones sold by Surplus Ammo. Do a side by side and they look the same except the roll mark. Both are pictogram even.

The Aero Precision I have used are GTG.
