    EDC setup

I have been carrying this for a few months now. It is very comfortable and easily hidden. I gotta tell ya, though...I miss having a 1911 on my hip.

    Holster is a Lobo
Gun is a 686 plus (dash 4 or 5...can't remember)
Knife is a 5.11 tactical that I picked up on clearance. It's actually a great knife.

Nice setup. Why the change from 1911? Seems like it couldn't be that much easier to conceal.

I really want a 686, but always have a couple thing above it on the list of things to buy.

I have many "EDC" set-ups. I like to carry a little bit of everything (1911, M&P, Glock). When I get a new setup I carry IT only for a while to see how I like it.

I will say that carrying this 686 OWB is easier for ME to conceal than my fullsized 1911 IWB. It is also more comfortable.

The bulkiest part of that setup looks to be the police duty belt double speedloader case. Any reason you haven't gone with something slimmer, like a couple of these:

Cause I got the duty belt one for free, and it is not bulky for me at all.

In fact, until you mentioned it, I never would have imagined anyone thinking they are bulky. Everyone's body style is different. This works just fine for me

    G26 in RC Phantom

First post. Love this site. Btw.

I recently (3 days ago) received a Phantom Modular Holster from Raven Concealment and I already know I'll never carry my G26 in anything else. I am using it IWB with the tuckable C clips and I absolutely love it. With it at 3 o'clock and the spare mag in a RC mag holder at 8 o'clock my rig disappears, even under a tee. With this setup, I can already tell I am much less likely to leave home without my weapon.

    Thanks, man.

In my OP, I didn't have the gun in front of me, and couldn't remember which "dash" it was. He was just letting me know.
