Offset mount for Surefire Scout that clears PEQ-15

I was curious if there are any offset mounts for the Surefire Scout light that clears a PEQ-15's laser emitters?

My first choice was the Danger Close mount but from what I've been reading it will not clear a PEQ-15's laser unless mounted on a rail with a raised 12 o'clock (HK416).

I'm looking for non QD, I don't need the extra weight nor the ability to remove the light quickly. I just need to bring it in closer to the barrel for greater balance than my current setup which is the Scout light mounted on a Larue inline mount. Will be mounted at the 10 o clock position on a RIS II.

    Thank you

I'm fairly certain there are none right now that work with a standard railed hand guard, but there is one coming out relatively soon.

I think it can be done with a tubular style though. If it can, it was Travis Haley's video when he released the Thornton and Dropwing mounts that showed it.

Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~ Paul Howe

I thought there was a rail mount version of these mounts too?

Here's a second question. Is there a simple inline mount that is an alternative to the stock Surefire mount? Something that can be secured by allen key and utilizes the side screws on the Scout to be as low as possible? I've had the stock mounts strip or loosen while the Larue inline I've been using sets weight off too from the barrel and the QD is something I don't need and is simply extra weight and bulk.

Any word on who's bringing it out so I can keep an eye open for it?

I can't remember the name, but it's a precisely machined and can incorporate a DBAL, the light, a front sight, and it can be used for different combinations.

There's a thread on Lightfighter from the developer, goteron, but I forget his company name. He may be a member here as well. I'll post back.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this exactly what the Haley mounts are for?

Yes I talked to goteron in regards of the mount before but for now I'm looking for a simple setup something that offsets the scout.

That BO mount looks pretty good but that looks pretty big. I'll have to look more into it.

Joe, I'm not sure if it does. Nothing on the site mentions it although the pictures show a Scout with a IR head but no front profile view to see if it clears the visible laser or IR flood.

At 3:15 in this video Travis Haley demonstrates a d-bal clearing the drop wing with a vampire mounted to it.
