    Magnifiers

Eotech, Aimpoint, any others? I am in the market for one. Facts and opinions on either brand or others I may not be aware of are much appreciated, looking to use one on my Eotech or my Aimpoint T-1. Much thanks.

    I went with the aimpoint.
Better eye relief, and supreme durability.

Useful when distance/precision is needed. Most of the time it spends pivoted to the side.

I tried the eotech. And I really had to keep my eye close.

I use an Eotech G23-FTS between my Eotechs, Aimpoint PRO, and T-1 and it works great. I haven't used the Aimpoint magnifier, nor have I tried Eotech's G33-STS which rumor has it is an improvement. It has a longer eye-relief as well as windage and elevation adjustment. I see them around the net for $550. Looks to be about $100 cheaper than the Aimpoint. My Eotech magnifier has been plenty durable, but I confess I don't keep it on any particular rifle all the time.

Hmmmm........ seems like this is a topic that belongs in the optics and mounts area.

I've wanted a G33 for a while and was about to order one but they're out of stock everywhere at the moment

Midway just changes the availability date on the G33 to 11-8.

Agreed. My Eotech G23FTS works great with the T-1/LT660 too.

I am less picky about my magnifier. I have the Primary Arms with long eye relief and it has been great with my Aimpoint PRO.
