    Uh, where?

You know what the dealer price on a Glock is? Nope, didn't think so....

If you are paying over $500 for a Glock, you are getting screwed over by your dealer....

Glock and an m&p can be had for under 500. Shop I work part time at has m&ps for 479 and gen 3 glocks for 450.

$500 is what I would pay for a NIB Glock 19. Plus shipping and transfer fees. Most of the local shops are charging $579 or more. With tax and transfer fees it would be over $600. Tn does not have a state income tax they make it up with sales tax.

What is so great about the Glock. It does not fit my hand well and when I shoot them they tend to shoot to the left. I understand they are a well made gun with great durability and reliability but they are not the only game in town.

Go Glock for sure! Also, THEY do not shoot to the left at all....just spend more range time with them and you'll be fine. A M&P shield is also (in my mind) a worthy combat pistol.

They do not fit my hand well. Unlike 1911's CZ's and the like. I understand it is a training issue. Why bother when so many other good guns fit me better and would make just as good a carry piece?

I will have to check out the M&P Shield.

What ever I get I plan on using it for the 2000 round challenge. To test the gun as well as become familiar with it.

    Reliability.
    Easy to maintain.
    Parts are cheap.

Hook more of you trigger finger in there if you are shooting left.

I guess I should ask, what is your intended purpose for the pistol?
