I just made reservations at the Comfort Inn in Gloucester, VA. According to mapquest it is only 20 miles from West Point. Military rate, either active duty, retired or veteran was $77 a night. Not bad considering the limited availability

Comfort Inn and the Hampton Inn are right next to each other. If you were able to get it for $77, then the Hampton Inn is also going to be $77 for the ITI rate. All you have to do is tell them you're going to ITI. No need to be Military, AAA, AARP, NAACP, etc.

Hampton Inn is also at $77 a night with the ITI rate. My firm uses Hampton Inn whenever we bring in clients. Just switched reservations.

I PM'd LAV. He said I was good to go because I've had some decent familiarization with the tactics and am comfortable with weapons manipulations from infantry basic and AIT, as well as some other instruction from qualified individuals. I'm holding off and taking the one in October though, because I want to take some basic marksmanship classes first as I have no formal training in that.
