Aghhh! Loving the CZ P-01.

I've been hearing how good CZ's are for a long time but just didn't want or need to get into another type of pistol. In particular I have heard a lot about the CZ P-01 and SP-01. I also am no fan of DA/SA. Anyway, I'm at the range this weekend, minding my own business, and a guy comes up next to me with a brand new P-01. I had to take a look at it and asked him a few questions hoping he would offer to let me shoot it. Which he did. Boy is that a nice pistol. The DA/SA didn't bother me. It felt GREAT in my hand. Very accurate. Pretty much no recoil in 9mm. Looks great. So I called my favorite dealer (a very accurate term btw) and he has one for $499. Damn. Off I go...

I hope he doesn't have any SP-01's in stock...

I like their ergonomics a lot. I was looking for a 97b model a while back.

Maybe it's the wine I'm drinking but I don't get what you mean.

It looks more proportional like a Glock 19 as opposed to a G17- there's a lot of extra grip on the SP-01 in your pics. I am guessing that's becuase of the 19 rounds it holds!?!?

ETA: the decocker also looks and the gun is almost a whole pound lighter. Now that I think about it, you might be saying you hope he doesn't have the SP because you'll end up buying both?

Oh, I see. Yeah I like the SP-01 too but it's pretty darn big. The grip with the mag is very long.
