I have an SRS in 338LM and a conversion kit to 308. It is a solid 0.5 MOA shooter with the right custom ammo (holds under 1 MOA with most quality factory 308 and heavier 338LM offerings).

If I had to do it all over again, I might go with DTA's HTI rifle in 50 BMG and 375CHY. The 50BMG would give you a solid anti-material platform while the 375CHY is great for long-range precision work. Rumor has it the DTA knows how to make the 375 CHY work in this platform for extreme long range precision work. However, that combo is not cheap at $10K for both calibers kits and chassis. Then, there is the ammo cost issue...
