Read all of the stickies and you will be more informed than 90% of this boards members.
This forum will not tolerate misinfo, so you will not have to wade through BS to find good solid info.
But you need to do the leg work yourself.

    Thank you

Read the stickies. Spike's isn't well thought of because of business practices and spiders being squashed by phallic objects. They spec out ok, though.

Read that. Seems a good deal. Honestly, I still feel the 6920 is the best bet for most applications.

Yeah the 6920 looks like a great value and a solid "keep for life" rifle. glad you guys clarified that for me. One of my local gun stores was selling a 6920 for $1550 not sure if there was anything different about it.

Just dealer markup. Every time I show them online prices they scream that what I'm showing them is below cost. It's cheaper to pay the transfer fee and order online. Hell, I've seen a 6920MP FDE that sells online for $1200 in stores for $1999!

This site is by far the best source for top notch advice on the AR platform that exists today in comparison to the gun shop BS and other so called sites out there. There are many very knowledgeable well respected members here and reading the stickies and taking the advice of the folks here is highly recommend. My absolute go to rifle is my DDM4 which has been 100% from day one. Colt is not just a name but the standard for all to follow. I also have a Colt that has also been 100% from day one as well and the 6920 is a damn fine rig that will serve you well for many years. I would only choose a PSA rifle as a secondary in addition to already having the Colt IMHO. The PSA rifles seem to be a good choice and priced well but my DD will always be my first go to rig.

Yeah i'm pretty much in love with DD. Ive handled (not fired) the DDM4V1, and the DDm4V5 and yeah, they are awesome. The prices at the places ive been to have been higher that the MSRP listed on DD's site, but they were not DD listed dealers. I did find a listed dealer in Pullman that sells DD and am awaiting an email back on prices and avaliability. right now its between the Colt 6920 and the DD's depending on thier price points.

    Order from gandrtactical.com
They have great prices on both Colt and Daniel Defense.
Grant is real helpful and ships fast.
Get a FFL lined up to do the transfer.
Kitchen table guys usually charge around $25 for the transfer.
