    It would SEEM that the 10mm MP5 IS the end result of this line of thinking.

    I seem to remember seeing a SME at one time or another stating that the MP5 in 10mm was likely the best of its type ever made. I assume the comment was reguarding sub-machine guns in general though I might have missed the point of reference.

    Ah yes, I agree with that 10mm MP5 reference. I hadn't thought about the thumper in years.
