Is anyone even 100% certain it's not a dissipator that's listed on the site incorrectly?
Because for a large percentage of gun owners, an AR is an AR is an AR. They only look at what is on the outside, and perceive Colt, BCM, Daniel Defense, Bushmaster, DPMS, Olympic, Stag, Rock River etc as being equals as far as quality is concerned. They see a Bushmaster for $899 and think it's a go to war weapon for much less than a Colt and other proven manufacturer's offerings.
A few years ago, I was in that same camp. I decided to educate myself though to avoid buying crap at caviar prices.
No, its not a dissipator. One of my gun magazines done a review on it. The main topic was the rifle length gas system on a 16" barrel. Of course they touted it as the best thing since sliced bread. It's funny you never hear anything negative about any of the guns they review, I guess they are all good to go!![]()

olds442tyguy: I prefer buying American not because of the cost, but because of the integrity. I'd rather send some greedy American guy a couple extra bucks than pay a couple bucks for an inferior product that's likely made from recycled condoms.
The gas port is larger at .113 from .70 allowing for less restricted flow. I just picked up a TAC2 last week and it is very smooth easy follow up shots like it says very little recoil lift. 250 rnds and no FTF FTE no issues. I love it
Well look at that a another ARM CHAIR COMMANDO stroking his ego with internet rep on a site. Just trying to report on the tac2 and its shoots fine..... Unlike everyone here who hasnt touched on stating there opinion based on internet coolaid
