    Magpul vs. Haley Strategic DVD

For those that have watched both, I can get Magpul carbine dvd for $33 shipped on ebay. Or I can spend $50 for Haley's carbine dvd. Which is better and more beneficial? I've read reviews on both, and like the idea of the 1on1 from the Haley dvd, but is it worth the extra $20?

The videos are not a substitute for training. That being said, the Magpul video is very similar to Haley's. The difference being as you stated, that there is more "1 on 1" in Haley's with a little more in depth discussion on the specifics of each movement. The Magpul video is significantly longer and contains some more gun porn.

You'd get more RL benefits spending the $33 - $50 on ammo and getting some trigger time.

No way would i spend 50 bucks on a movie. I've seen them all and they have their place.

Why don't you pay 18 dollars for a month subscription and just watch haley's videos (and a few others) online? In one month you can easily watch paul howe's 3 videos, pat roger's 3 videos and haley's 3 videos.

Or reinforce bad habits if he hasn't had proper instruction.

Range time does not always equal improvement.

    Some good advice here!

I personally prefer Haley's carbine DVD over the Magpul sets. ETA: But I've learned stuff from both of them (and I also have the Rogers brothers' DVDs and Paul Howe's first one).
