Bobro Aimpoint Micro Mounts are a reality!!

I was just ordering a 34mm scope mount from Bobro and while talking with Andrew I asked if the micro mounts were ever actually going to happen. He said "yes, we have the low mounts finished." He is offering 4 heights: low, HK/piston, absolute and lower 1/3. He said they all should be ready in about a month. I did not ask about price because I had another phone call beeping in my ear. I personally am very excited for the mounts as I have been waiting ~5 years for this to happen.

I know there is another thread from a year ago on here in regards to these. I felt a new thread was appropriate. If not, I take no offense to a merge. Here's a link to the old thread...

Agreed. I feel like they missed out on a large share of the market. That said, I personally have a H1 sitting in the safe without a mount. I now know what I plan to mount it on.

I'm a firm believer of I don't believe it until I see it so I am going to be calling in two weeks to check the status. I have no reason to doubt Mr. Bobro at all but things can go wrong during any aspect of the manufacturing process. I promise that I will post pictures of mine the minute it actually arrives at my door.

So the real purpose of this post is, I talked with Andrew again briefly today. The mounts are all going to be solid, one piece units. At some point he decided not to do modular and personally I am glad. Less screws the better and yes I am aware of the wondrous things that can be accomplished with thread locker.

Also, he stated the price will be the same or similar to his ACOG mounts, $140.

And just for clarification, I am not personally benefiting for posting this. I have no affiliation and so on...
