    Crye Precision

Has anyone ever dealt with this company before? Their Armor Chasis looks like it is prety nice. Although it says call for quote that usually means you cant afford it.

Crye is a top shelf company. Everything they make is good to go. Their armor system is outstanding, but as you guessed....expensive.

Posted on Lightfighter, 11 March, quality control is not so hot. There hasn't really been a resolution to the discussion, saying one way or another that they've recently solved the problems or that they're still having them. I would suppose that this means -- to me at least -- that they're still having QC problems until otherwise stated.

Maybe you could pick up that carrier and be the one who finds out if they're still having problems.

    Bryson:

You are comparing two different animals. Clothing manufacturing and nylon manufacturing are quite unrelated. Their nylon is first rate, but I emphasize THEIR nylon. You will find one company that is in partnership with them for the manufacturing of gear. Neither company actually makes it, as it is farmed out to a third corporation. That quality in particular is horrible.

    Stay safe.

Sure right after you send me the money to purchase it. Then I will respond on the QC issue.

I'm nearly in Ben's camp on this. I've got several pieces of their clothing and as of today have had ZERO issues with QC.

There are some things they do well & others they could improve on.

That said, their end product is Top Shelf.

I take it the third company is not Eagle?

Is it like one of the companies that makes CTD type stuff or one that has a bigger name?
