    Anti-seize grease??

    I bought this small pack "AGS anti-seize grease" from autozone, can I use the grease to muzzle thread before install the flash hider ??

    Can I also apply it to barrel nut?

    Make sure it does not contain graphite if you want to use it on the barrel nut, graphite can cause galvanic corrosion on the dissimilar metals (steel nut and aluminum receiver). If you aren't sure if it contains graphite you should be able to find out from the MSDS.

    I use Loc-tite C5-A and have been using it for years. It has yet to fail or do anything silly.

    It should be fine for both purposes. Even if it has a *little* bit of graphite in it, I don't think it would be an issue.

    That's what I use too. What's with the expiration date on it?..

    I mean.. you buy it in such a large tube, you'll have it forever...

    There's an expiration date on it? I never even took notice of it.

    Well maybe it's a "Use By" date...not only do I use the grease for builds, it's also my major source of lithium to control the OCD that plagues me.
