Single mag pouch for 1 1/2" belt

I'm shooting my first "practical rifle" match next weekend, there is a mandatory reload. I'm fairly new to AR's and have zero gear other than a 1 1/2" instructors belt.

Is the Blade Tech kydex pouch a solid choice? Any others to recommend?

Blade Tech Kydex with Tek Loc are nice to have. The Ready tactical versions are good too.
If your going to be moving into competition, also consider Safariland. You can get their AR pouch with standard 1.5 inch belt clip now and later move to a ELS system just change the clip out.

The Bladetech pouches are fine. Can you get one locally? Otherwise, next week my be pushing it to get one from them. My last 7-9 day rush items took 9 days.

While it's a little slower, coming out of you back pocket isn't the end of the world.

You could also try Kytex Gear. I've used their pistol mag carriers for IDPA and will be ordering a couple of their AR mag carriers, soo.
