The FN 10.5 barrel is Nice..

Although still new to the lineup... this gun might put some others out to pasture. I've never really thought much of the 10.5 carbine until I saw the features on this barrel.

We took this build out and gave it a hasty zero and ran some rounds through it to see how it was gassed.

It ran 75 gr Hornady Steel cased, XM193, and a couple of milder hand loads.

XM193 performed as though the port is just right.... Stout but no signs of overgassing.. No bent case rims, wild ejecting, etc.

I got it from PKfirearms... would have preferred to buy from a site sponsor, but when I googled it, they were the only ones I could find.

I have had the best luck with LMT 10.5" barrels. Centurion Arms looks like a good option and something I'd like to try, but until now, I hadn't heard about this one. I'd love to compare one next to the LMT some day.

Keep us updated as time goes on.

Yeah.. I haven't seen the LMTs in stock for a while anywhere.. I guess some of the local stores had them... but I like just being able to get the barrel.

The LMTs have a great reputation for running well.
