Anybody that doesn't have at least a little tin foil these days must not be be paying attention. I feel like we went down the rabbit hole and forgot which way was up.

Speaking of suppressors.... why exactly are they on a NFA list anyway? That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard of.

It's like a damn switchblade. They were in the movies as evil so now we can't have them.

I just know one thing, if you are going to add ten million firearms to the NFA, basically expanding it's size by a factor of 20, you aren't going to do that by adding 9 replacement Examiners.

What does the NFA branch process in a year? 20,000 apps at most I wager.
My brother saw Deliverance and bought a Bow. I saw Deliverance and bought an AR-15.

That is why ATF is trying to do through regulation what the pols don't want to do through legislation. The damage is done and the Dems will assert clean hands since Congress didn't act.

If the O has to throw one of his own on that rail to short circuit it, he will.

He will press forward with gun control. He tells you what he's going to do before he does it. He has said several times there needs to be some gun control. It's going to happen.

More like a million firearms and 100,000 forms. Look here, and scroll down the page to the NFA section.

He will try, we'll see if it works. Obama won't run for re-election again. Lots of Democrat Senators and Representatives will. They haven't forgotten the 2010 election which was a bloodbath for Democrats in the House mainly because they were forced to vote for Obamacare. There are reportedly sixteen Dem Senators now looking to repeal the medical device tax which is going to hurt businesses in their states. Welcome to Realville ya'll. If semi-autos are declared NFAs there will be vast non-compliance which will be embarrassing and fraught with unintended consequences.

This is what happens when these elected dipshits are so eager to suck up and vote the party line that they fail to read to fine print.

Now they have medical companies telling them they are going to lose money and not be be able to hire or keep employees because of the taxes. Just wait till the pain of insuring all of your workers hits home.

I am starting to wonder if there isn't a chance he will attempt some type of executive order nonsense.

No tin foil here, but my eyes have been opened to a lot of things over the past decade or so. And in the past 5 years I've seen things that I could have never imagined would actually happen (not just talking about gov attitude to firearms).

When you see the growth in the popularity of "assault rifles" and also in NFA firearms, you would be nuts to think that there aren't some in the gov who see that as a very bad trend. Something that needs to be dealt with. Whether or not anything will be done is the big question. While not expected, I wouldn't be surprised if they at least tried.

Don't forget he's stacking the SCOTUS too though.

Even if they saw it as good thing they would want in on the action. No good idea goes untaxed. They are probably trying to figure how to encompass and control it all. Curb the "evil" and increase taxes on the rest.
