How to you keep food from getting boring?

Do you guys actually make crazy meals with fancy names, or are you just like me and eat as many combo's of veggies, yams, edamame, fish beef and chicken as you can before doing something foolish, or trying to over come that with a massive spice rack and the grill.

Last week for what ever reason I threw some cinnamon in my whey shaker and it was like

Avoid broscience, specifically the processed foods boogeyman, don't center a diet around processed foods, but don't worry about it, if it fits within the macros/calories, its not cheating.

Honestly? Learn to cook. Get cookbooks that look interesting. Learn to modify recipes. Make what you want to eat. Some foods are easier to learn, and others are more like an art--bread for example. Bread from scratch can be a challenge to get nice results if you are out of practice or have never made bread before...

I'm calling bullshit. Processed foods are full of sugar, preservatives and all kinds of crap. Sure, you can lose weight eating a thousand calories a day of candy bars, but you're not going to be healthy. I'm in the camp that believes sugar is causing the extreme spike in health problems and diabetes over the last thirty years. Read the label on anything you buy and it almost always contains sugar.

It's ironic that an old guy, Jack LaLanne, had this figured out years before the health movement. In Jack's words, if man mad it (e.g. in a can or box) don't eat it. Eat fresh fruits, veggies and cook your own meat. Stay away from processed foods, sugar and preservatives.

If you find your food boring, travel to a third world country and miss a few meals.

Cook books and lots of sriracha. When I loose it and need something else I do my best to eat some where fairly healthy.
