Tango Down rail mounted front sight. Anyone seen this?

This looks like it might be perfect for a long rail with an X300 up top. In my example, 13.5" rail, DD front sight behind an X300. I'm only 6'-nothing and I have to mount the front sight roughly in a middy FSB position. Yup, I'm not taking advantage of that long ass rail's longer sight radius. This might be perfect.

    Anyone else interested in this?

Seems like a good idea. Although I'm not a real big fan of co-witness.

do you mean 'fixed' vs. 'folding' front sight? co-witness has nothing to do with this (unless you're referring to the folded 416 sight as well).

It doesn't look like the X400 laser will clear that sight.

Glad to see it on the market, wish my buddies and I had made these when we started talking about it instead of... talking about it.

i wanted to bring up one consideration when using this sight with a surefire X-300 light: you have to remove the light in order to change out the batteries, since the battery cover can't flip down when mounted onto a rail. so, the sight has to come off to do that. return to zero can be checked by verifying the front sight co-witness with your optic before and after.
because of this, i recommend using the inforce WML with this sight, as the WML is clamped onto the rail, not slid on. it's a bit of a tight fit to wrangle the WML head into the sight (because it's recessed) and onto the rail, but it's definitely doable.

I can see it doesn't use a stock threaded and nurled front sight pin. What IS that little gomer ???

Looks like a set screw with a pin sticking out of it.

    Anyone know?
