Same here. There's a lot of jookie 12 0 clock options out there.

My idea was to make the light body the site.

I've really been considering this item. Is there enough difference in the bezel of the X 300 Ultra vs the standard X 300 to make any difference on their running together? I understand there's some difference in the lights but I'm thinking it's bezel length.

Has anyone tried to stick a Surefire 6px through that with the bezel in front of the sight?

only very slightly at the top where it's flat across.

it won't fit, nor will a scout. the flat portion will not allow it.

I wish I had to ability to make things out of metal. I'd love to know if something like this could be made that was both a sight and a mount for a 1" body light. That would be great because then you could use a 1" light at 12 o'clock without needing a pressure switch or, even using a pressure switch you could keep the longest possible sight radius.

not unless you mount it behind the sight - the bezel is too large to fit in the recess.
